I would also check the +12V and +5V that goes to that board with an oscilloscope for fluctuations. If there is some artifacts the board may loose it's mind.

Also you can check caps this way. Just put the probe onto the "+" pin and look for those fluctuations. If there is some - the cap is faulty.

I might pull the main board and check caps. I can get them for around $10.00. The monitor is in good shape otherwise. I can also check the caps I put in on the power board. Some times you get a bad one.

Yes, can be something wrong with it also. I am not sure that it is worth your time fixing it as a new monitor cost from 100 bucks.

You can sell it for parts. Sometimes people buy LCDs as they have broken it accidentally.

I replaced all the caps on the power board with high quality caps and reinstalled in the monitor. It worked fine for about 1 month then started doing the same thing. I changed out the monitor with another and it works with no problem. Could it be the main board?

Hello,

I think you need to unplug it from the mains, press and hold the power button for at least 10 seconds and try power it on again.

It has a light flashing which indicates I think that it has some sort of internal fault.

I have heard people disassemble this model and find faulty (puffy) capacitors inside. After the capacitors have been replaced the monitor starts working again.
